K-beauty-inspired · For Android
Meet Squintly, your gentle reminder to relax your face. Our K-beauty-inspired Android app helps you notice squinting and brow furrowing while you use your phone.
The everyday habit
When you focus on a screen, your face often joins in. Eyes narrow a little. Brows draw together. It happens quietly, without you deciding to do it, and it can repeat many times a day.
Most of us only notice when someone points it out. Squintly is that friendly someone.
How Squintly works
A short personalized calibration teaches Squintly how your relaxed and expressive face looks.
Start monitoring, then switch to any app. Squintly keeps watching quietly in the background.
When Squintly notices sustained squinting or brow tension, a soft vibration lets you know.
Features
Calibration learns how your face moves, so tracking is tailored to you.
A subtle buzz, never an alarm. Just enough to help you soften your face and carry on.
Start a session and keep scrolling, reading or working in other apps. Squintly runs discreetly behind them.
Eye squinting and brow furrowing are tracked separately, so you can see which habit shows up more.
Activity trends and progress over time help you build awareness, one session at a time.
Facial analysis happens on your phone. No video is recorded and no photos of you are saved.
Privacy
Your face never leaves your phone.
Squintly's facial tracking runs on your Android device. Camera frames are analyzed in memory for a moment and then discarded. They are never uploaded. In fact, the app doesn't even request internet access.
Read the privacy policy (opens in a new tab)Based on the REVLOOM LLC privacy policy (effective September 14, 2026). Subscriptions are handled by Google Play, which doesn't receive your facial analysis. This website uses no cookies or trackers.
Beauty & awareness
Every expression is a small muscle movement. Dermatologists note that contracting the same facial muscles again and again over many years can help expression lines become lasting ones. (American Academy of Dermatology)
We think expressive faces are beautiful. Squintly isn't about freezing yours. It's about noticing the tension you never meant to hold, like a squint at small text or a furrow during a long read, so you can let it go.
A gentle note: Squintly is a habit-awareness tool, not a medical device or a wrinkle treatment. It doesn't prevent, treat, or reverse wrinkles. Aging is natural, and that's okay.
